• Marine cargo coverAvailable for high-value items — electronics, race sails, rigging, outboards and brokerage equipment.
• Territorial scopeUnited Kingdom mainland, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland. EU and international movements quoted individually.
• Loading & unloadingCover applies from collection to delivery, including handling at marinas, boatyards and storage facilities.
• Temporary storageInsured while in PRONAV custody at our secure premises pending onward movement.

How claims work

Clear, documented, fast.

1. 01

   Photographic record

   Every item is photographed at collection and delivery. Condition and packaging are logged in our movement record.

2. 02

   Notify within 7 days

   Damage or loss reported within seven days of delivery to crew@pronav-marine.com or by phone.

3. 03

   Evidence pack

   We compile photographs, the movement record, and any third-party reports into a single claim pack.

4. 04

   Insurer settlement

   Underwriters assess and settle directly with the consignee. PRONAV manages the process end to end.

Exclusions

What's not covered.

• Inherent vicePre-existing damage, manufacturing defects, or wear and tear unrelated to transit.
• Inadequate packingItems presented without suitable protective packaging, where packing was the customer's responsibility.
• Hazardous goodsLithium batteries, fuels and pyrotechnics — quoted only after a written risk assessment.
• Consequential lossLoss of use, race entry fees, hire costs or downtime. Cover is for the item itself.
